That's really disappointing and it's even not legal. DUE A COVID RESTRICTION YOU HAVE TO REFUND ALL THE BOOKING MONEY. In March 2022 I had unpaid guests from the Homestay website - Homestay and guest did not transfer the payment for the accomodation to me.
I refused - & i said that as i'd booked the holiday through unique home stays that i now expected them to mediate for me to find a solution. We adore ‘Islander’ for a romantic break, with its amazing setting on the cliff edge .... A perfect setting to enjoy a bottle of champagne in the hot tub! We have stayed here twice, once with blazing sunshine and the second time it rained non-stop - we thoroughly enjoyed both experiences and look forward to returning soon. We had a great time and were well supported by the owners. We can´t fault the property or the experience!

A great level of service which we very much appreciated. We had a wonderful time at Wishbone, it was even better than I had imagined! It is breathtakingly beautiful and we really didn´t want to leave.
The team at Unique Homestay were exceptional. They were kind to us in our frustration and extremely efficient. We appreciated their good humour and hard work at such a challenging time. Thankfully we have managed to move our booking to December 2021 and we are very much looking forward to our stay. Thank you to everyone in the office and a merry Christmas to you all. Easy process
Was looked after by Kelly at Unique Homestays and she couldn’t have done a better job. Was very helpful right through the process. The Glasshouse itself is stunning, it has everything you need and want. We're delighted you would recommend staying at this property and we hope we can welcome you to your third homestay with us soon.
The highlight of our stay was the wonderful cooking of Jo who was introduced by the house - she came and did most dinners for our group. Her food is delicious but she also has such a warm, lovely personality so blended with our family perfectly and made the holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. Located in the eastern part of the Cotswolds, Lower Oddington is a hamlet of golden limestone cottages. One small, well-behaved dog is very welcome at Earby House. Nestled in a pretty village, this dashingly handsome home is a welcome retreat away from the hustle of everyday life.
I will be booking with unique homestays again and again
I can proudly say, it was the best time of my life. It was a beautiful place as described by Unique Homes, very clean and upto the mark. Even English Country Cottages have reviews.
Firstly the customer service is rude and arrogant. My mother in law had a stroke and was near death so we had to rent a property at short notice there was no empathy or kindness in them and the whole thing was shocking. Then I stayed in another place which was lovely but when we removed the pillow cases they were covered in filth and blood in a place that cost thousands. We only established that after a week of sleeping on them! Lastly I booked for my partners 50th birthday, I booked ages ago as they are always fully booked.
The food and welcome at The Ship Inn was excellent too, but do book ahead. As long time fans of Kynance Cove, we also explored other beaches on The Lizard during the week and particularly liked Kennack Sands, all needed amenities without being in any way spoilt. Trebah Gardens was also well worth a visit, reminiscent of Heligan without the crowds. The walk up through the woods to Trelowarren for a coffee and a browse of the arts and crafts galleries is also a nice gentle excursion, before scurrying back to the cosy comfort of the cottage. We stayed at Breakers in north Cornwall and the accommodation was very stylish and brilliantly designed for a cliff top cabin.

As such, our cancellation policies are publically available to everyone on the website and were also emailed to you separately. All guests read and agree to our terms, including our cancellation policy, at the point of booking. We work very closely with our owners and do all we can to meet client requests, however unfortunately we are unable to move dates if we are not provided with alternative dates for the stay. If a guest decides to cancel their booking, we always endeavour to resell the dates so we can recoup their funds in full, minus a small administration fee. We were forced to go out each day, which defeated totally the purpose of choosing this property.
Beautiful views on the most southern tip of the country, fantastic cliff walks with great restaurants nearby. If you are looking for a relaxing experience in a superb house and location in the UK, I recommend you try this. We made some lovely family memories at the Signal Station and I'll be booking again. I have booked with this company several times and each time there has been a horrendous problem.

They meet every owner and visit each home to ensure that each home will. After have trying to reach out to numerous homestays without respond I give up. Maybe you should reach out to the homestay hosts to ensure that they are actually still active/looking for tenants? I can imagine covid changed the circumstances for many families which might no longer actually want to host people for various reasons. Thanks a lot for this unforgettable stay in your fantastic home. Just from the first moment we knew that it would be a marvellous stay in Cornwall for the next 2 weeks. Your house was magic in every matter, the welcome basket, the very tasteful furnishing, the well equipped kitchen and the extremely impressive view to the beach. But most all, the very kind and warm support of Christina and Jonny will never be beaten. As a result, I've paid £550 a night for a property, when Airbnb and other booking sites have nearby properties for £550 a week. I expected the property to be absolutely Top Notch for that price - given it is a tiny one bedroom in Cornwall - but it is not.
